Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 1, 2026
Published policy: https://djapps-studio.github.io/sportdojo/privacy.html
SportDOJO is published by DJ Apps Studio. Its Google Play developer name is CodeFoundry. Contact: support.djapps@gmail.com.
In plain language
SportDOJO bundles its training content for offline use. Starting or restoring a workout requires confirmed Google Play subscription access or publisher-provided evaluation access; a fresh app process requires a Play ownership check. It does not require a SportDOJO account, and the app developer does not receive your profile choices, schedules, session history, or readiness answers. Information you enter is processed and stored locally on your device so the app can plan and remember your activity.
Information kept on your device
SportDOJO may store:
- your display name, selected gender (including a prefer-not-to-say choice), and optional height in centimetres and weight in kilograms;
- your male/female trainer preference, which can be changed independently of gender;
- selected sports and your active sport;
- optional Cricket or Baseball role;
- experience level, primary goal, preferred session duration, training days, and rest days;
- resistance-band availability, theme, and reduced-motion preferences;
- favorites, recently previewed movements, and optional interval sound/haptic preferences;
- editable seven-day schedules;
- routine history, completion state, skipped exercises, and prescription snapshots;
- non-diagnostic “too easy,” “suitable,” or “too difficult” feedback;
- general fatigue or soreness feedback used conservatively for later workload selection; and
- an active-session checkpoint, including current exercise, set/repetition or timer state, pause state, and whether completion feedback is pending.
This information is used only on the device to provide app features such as deterministic routines, schedules, session restoration, and history.
Your display name personalises the interface. Gender supplies a default trainer illustration when you choose to match your profile; it does not constrain later trainer selection. Height and weight are optional profile information and are not used for medical assessment, calorie estimates, or exercise-intensity prescriptions. You can edit or remove optional details in your profile.
Readiness check
Readiness answers are evaluated temporarily to decide whether a session should proceed, be reduced, or be blocked. SportDOJO does not store the symptom details you select and does not ask for a diagnosis or narrative medical history. At most, it may retain that a session was skipped and the date.
Readiness information is not used to diagnose a condition or provide an injury-adapted routine.
Information not requested
SportDOJO does not ask for your email address, exact date of birth, diagnosis, injury history, medication information, payment information, or account credentials. Your display name does not have to be your legal name. It is designed not to request notification access or access location, microphone, camera, contacts, activity recognition, body sensors, calendar, SMS, or broad device storage.
Collection, sharing, sale, advertising, and analytics
SportDOJO has no app backend, account service, analytics, advertising, or remote-configuration service. The app does not transmit app-entered information to the developer or third parties, automatically share it with other apps, or sell it. An explicit history export is written only to the file you select through Android. It does not use information for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Exercise demonstrations play videos bundled with the app through the native Android player. The bundled model renderer uses Android WebView where available. These components do not visit websites or load a remote video service, and your name, measurements and session history are not sent to the renderer.
This statement depends on the released app matching the reviewed source and dependency set. The publisher reviews the final merged manifest, included SDKs, and release artifact before publication. If a future version adds any off-device transfer, this policy and the relevant in-app disclosure and Play Data Safety answers must be updated before that feature is released.
App-store and operating-system services
Google Play subscriptions
Google Play Billing handles monthly/yearly subscriptions, payment processing, localized prices and trial eligibility under Google's terms. SportDOJO receives purchase status and tokens in memory to verify local access and acknowledge purchases. It never receives payment-card details. Play and its Billing SDK may process purchase, device and diagnostic information. SportDOJO does not send its profile, readiness answers, schedules or training history to Play. A publisher-provided review-access verifier, when configured, is stored separately in app-private preferences; it does not represent a purchase and is excluded from history exports and automatic backup. Introduction completion is also stored locally and does not grant access.
Saved history, history export, deletion and safety information remain accessible without a subscription. Deleting app data or uninstalling does not cancel a Google Play subscription; use Google Play's subscription controls. A new app process needs a Play ownership check, and the client retains confirmed access in memory for at most 24 hours using the monotonic clock. Statements elsewhere in this policy about no transmission of app-entered training information do not mean that billing has no off-device processing.
Google Play, Android, or your device manufacturer may independently process installation, licensing, security, crash, device, or diagnostic information under their own terms and privacy policies. Those platform processes are not SportDOJO features and do not send your in-app profile, readiness answers, schedules, or session-history database to the SportDOJO app backend—there is no such backend. Depending on the distribution platform, the publisher may receive platform-provided aggregate quality information such as crash or ANR reports. Review your app-store and device privacy controls for details.
Device storage, security, and backup
Local information is protected by Android's application sandbox and the security of your device. No storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, so keep your device and operating system protected.
SportDOJO disables or restricts automatic cloud backup for its local preferences, readiness state, schedules, history, and checkpoints so that this information is not uploaded unexpectedly through Android backup. Device manufacturers and operating-system tools outside SportDOJO may have their own behaviour; review your device settings as well.
History transfer is optional and uses Android's file picker. Exported files contain session history, feedback and exercise snapshots, not readiness symptom answers or profile measurements. You choose the file location. If you select a cloud storage provider, that provider handles the file under its own policy. SportDOJO does not automatically upload it or receive a copy. Import adds validated history without restoring an active workout or replacing your profile. Exported files are outside the app's private storage; protect them and delete them separately. Clearing or uninstalling SportDOJO does not delete files you exported.
Retention and deletion
Local information remains until you delete it, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app, subject to your operating system's behaviour.
Use Settings → Delete all app data to clear SportDOJO preferences, schedules, session history, and active-session state from the app. Android's system settings can also clear the app's storage. Because SportDOJO has no account or server database, there is no separate server-side account to delete.
Adults only
SportDOJO is intended for adults aged 18 or older. It is not directed to children, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Health information
SportDOJO provides general fitness education. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. See the in-app Safety Information before exercising.
Changes to this policy
If SportDOJO's data handling changes, the publisher will update this policy and its effective date before or with the applicable app release. Material new data use requires an appropriate in-app disclosure and consent where required.
Questions
For privacy questions, email support.djapps@gmail.com. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include so we can respond. Do not include sensitive health information. Support correspondence is retained only as needed to resolve your request and meet applicable obligations; you may request its deletion.
The public website is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may process technical request information under GitHub's privacy statement. Opening the public policy uses your external browser; it does not upload your local SportDOJO profile or history. The app's Settings screen links to the published policy.
