TrueFrameFor Android by DJ Apps Studio

Privacy Policy

Effective date and last updated:

1. Overview

TrueFrame by DJ Apps Studio is a local-only Android gallery, organizer, editor, audio and video player, and frame inspection app. TrueFrame does not collect or share user data with DJ Apps Studio or third parties. Media processing, text recognition, image labeling, and AI upscaling take place on your device. There is no account, cloud synchronization, remote AI service, advertising, analytics, or runtime model download. The app has no internet or network-status permission. The former YouTube feature has been removed.

2. Information used on your device

With your permission, TrueFrame accesses photos, videos, audio, and their metadata, including filenames, folders, dates, sizes, formats, dimensions, duration, and available camera information. It uses these locally for viewing, playback, organization, search, editing, duplicate review, and export. Optional media-location permission reads location already embedded in media; TrueFrame does not track your live location. Recognized text, generic image labels, favorites, album membership, hidden-album flags, editing recipes, saved viewing positions, cover choices, and preferences are stored locally. Recognition does not identify named people.

3. Permissions and your choices

You can allow all or selected media where Android supports it, import individual local files, or authorize a storage folder using Android controls. File and folder pickers request local-only content. Android audio permission supports access to existing audio files. TrueFrame does not request live location, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, call-log, or unrestricted all-files access. Android authorization is used where required to modify, trash, restore, or permanently delete media. You can change permissions in Android settings; revoking access limits affected features.

4. Local models and diagnostics

Text recognition, image labeling, and upscaling models are bundled with the app and run on the device. No images or recognized text are uploaded for processing. Network permissions and recognition upload components are removed from the packaged app. Playback and export platform diagnostics are disabled. TrueFrame does not transmit analytics, advertising identifiers, diagnostic events, or performance data to us or SDK providers.

5. Exports and actions you choose

Exports are saved locally as new files. TrueFrame does not automatically share or upload your files. If you explicitly select Share or Open with, Android hands the selected files to the app you choose; that receiving app may upload or share them under its own privacy policy and permissions. Copying recognized text places it on the Android clipboard; pasting it into another app is your choice. Original media may contain location, camera, date, and other metadata. Photo export offers Remove location metadata, enabled by default; you may choose to retain supported metadata. Sharing an original file does not automatically strip its metadata. Hidden albums are not encrypted vaults.

6. Retention and deletion

Local records remain until removed through available app controls, Android Clear storage, or uninstalling. Temporary processing files may be cleared by the app or Android. Deleting a source file does not necessarily erase every related local organization or search record. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes app-managed private records under normal Android behavior, but does not automatically delete original media, exports in shared storage, or copies you chose to share. Manage those files using authorized device media controls. Android controls the retention of trashed media. Automatic Android backup of TrueFrame app data is disabled. Separate device or photo-backup services may back up shared media according to their own settings. There is no TrueFrame account or server-held app data to delete.

7. Security

TrueFrame uses Android app storage, content-URI access, and permission controls. It has no app network connection to secure in transit. Hidden albums do not add encryption. Device security also depends on your operating system, screen lock, and other apps; no device or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Support and privacy questions

If you independently contact support.djapps@gmail.com outside the app, we receive only the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, and attachments. We use that correspondence to respond and retain it as needed for your request and applicable legal obligations. Our email provider processes that correspondence; it is separate from TrueFrame app data collection. You can request deletion of support correspondence subject to those obligations. Avoid sending personal media unless needed. For data stored only on your device, use the local controls described above.

9. Children and policy changes

TrueFrame is a general media utility and does not offer a dedicated child mode or parental supervision service. It does not collect personal data from users of any age. Contact us if a child has sent personal information directly through external support correspondence. We may update this policy when features or data practices change.
